Volunteer

We have many volunteer opportunities. If you have a special talent to share, we need instructors in teaching English, visual arts, computer skills, and music. We always need help with our weekly senor lunches to prepare or serve the meals. Our BAMA food bank needs volunteers to help distribute food and keep the shelves stocked.

Please contact us for more information.

Food Bank Recurring Donations

Food insecurity is a big problem in Ecuador and recurring donations are critical to our projects. $25 per month will help us add a new family to our food bank. Or you can support a family for one year with a one-time donation of $300.

Onesies

Manglaralto Giving has partnered with Manglaralto Basic Hospital to help with new arrivals. The hospital delivers 60-80 babies a month and about 25% of new mothers have no diapers nor clothing to take their baby home.  We work with the nurses in the birthing center to help families with a dignified start for their precious babies. If you are traveling to Ecuador, please consider “muling” some onesies to donate. If you are living in the area, Manglaralto Giving will happily pass along your donation to the hospital.
